Iznik ware

Polychrome, underglaze-painted ceramics made in the town of Iznik (ancient Nicaea) in western Anatolia during the Ottoman Empire, from the second half of the 15th to the late 17th century. Common forms include dishes, ewers, tankards, mosque lamps and tiles. Web resource here.
